Welcome to the Jaded Meadow
Ah, the Jaded Meadow. One of the most beautiful places in the sanctuary, second only the the Fairy Queen's forest. Through day and night fairies flit about making flowers bloom, with a pool nearby with extremely pure water. One of the unique things about this pond is the fact that it's the only place in the universe which has Naiads that won't drown you if you try to swim.
Creatures
Fairies - Self centered creatures, they try not to talk to humans. It took ages for me to gain their trust when I first came to the fairy realm.. Despite most thinking only of themselves, there's a few that are reliable. There's a fairy who goes by the name Ayanna-- a misty blue fairy, who's wings appear to shimmer with droplets of water all the time. She's the only fairy whom I would ever trust with my life, and has accompanied me on many an adventure.
Naiads - Pesky creatures Naiads are, luring many a adventurer to the water with beauty only to drag them to a watery grave.. The ones in the waters on this island are the only Naiads I have ever met to not gain joy from the deaths of mortals. Perhaps you can try swimming with them a bit!
Hamadryads & Dryads - These beautiful creatures are scattered all about the islands-- you could probably be able to find one no matter where you go. My first friend when I came here was a dryad named Selene, a dryad tied to a Cherry Blossom tree. Hamadryads are always tied to a tree, and share life force with it. Selene had a peculiar connection to her tree, and during the summer her hair glowed a very pretty sakura pink.
Fair Folk & Elves - I'm probably most jealous of these magical creatures. Both the fair folk and the elves are unnaturally beautiful. They can't even help it-- Olenne tried for a while to look like she had just woken up, but no matter what she did she looked so pretty! Not particularly dangerous, though they could still easily kill you.
~Just a note, the Fair Folk on this island do not share in the neutrality of their brethren!
